The Handmade Cactus began years ago, before I even knew what bookbinding was. At that time, I was making crochet items but stumbled upon a video, quite by accident, that showed how to make handmade paper. This sparked my interest and led me to explore more videos on handmade paper and discover the world of handmade books on Pinterest. I've always loved books, and I was intrigued by the idea of creating books from scratch, something completely new to me. Motivated to learn, I've dedicated the past two years to pursuing it, and now, here we are!

In early 2023, I changed my name from The Handmade Cactus to The Handmade Cactus Bindery. I love bookbinding more than any other craft I've ever undertaken. There is always something new to discover and to learn. I continue to upgrade my tools and materials, so I can offer even better craftsmanship. I plan to start a Youtube channel in 2024 where I will show my equipment, tutorials, and tips and tricks I've learned while making books.
