This book is cloth bound and has a built in bookmark so you can always keep your place. The endpapers of the book are handmade lokta paper, a durable, eco friendly paper from Nepal made from the inner bark of the daphne plant. The fibers are sustainably harvested, boiled, beaten into pulp, and dried on frames, creating a strong, textured paper. The signatures (folded sections) of the book were sewn together using French link stitch, a binding technique that has been in use for over 500 years.
