These vary from basic case bindings/rebindings, to complex books sewn on cords laced onto boards using traditional techniques that have been in use for over 500 years. 

I provide book repair services, from old family cookbooks and genealogy records to antique textbooks and treasured Bibles. I can also provide paper repair on its own. 

If you have a book you want repaired:

• please contact me with a description of what is wrong with the book and of what you want done. Please include pictures of your book.

• If I can do the job the next step is to give you an estimate on the cost to repair your book. You can ship it to me or drop it off (if local) so I can look it over for a few days. I charge an intake fee of $15 and I will create a condition report and a treatment proposal for you. If you decide to have the repairs outlined in the treatment proposal done I will count that fee towards the cost of repairs. 

• If I can't do the job, I can help you find someone else who is able to!

• Bible repair starts at $200 and encompasses all sorts of page and structural repairs as well as a new vegetable tanned goatskin cover.

If you have a document that you want converted into a beautiful and unique hardcover book, I can do that! Starting at $80 for a basic cloth covered casebound book, to $400+ for a full leather book sewn on cords and laced into boards, this service allows you to customize your book and make sure you get something you truly love. 

I can also create a custom sketchbook or journal for you! I have lots of papers to choose from for every type of artist or note taker. This service starts at $50.

If you aren't ready to have a book repaired yet but would like to keep all the pieces together and protect it, I can make you a custom phase box. This starts at $15. This is a wrap of acid free light board that is made for your book's exact measurements. I can also do this for loose paper. 

A fancier option is a clamshell box. This option starts at $80, and again is made to your book's exact measurements so that it isn't damaged by bouncing around.
